Find Inspiration in 5 free packs.
If you're like me, you must have moments where you have 0 inspirations for your songs.
Sometimes you get stuck on the construction of the drums or the melody and it stops you from moving forward.
What I like to use for inspiration is sample packs.
I can build a drum pattern very quickly and it helps me build my melodies and ambiances.
So I have listed my top 5 free sample packs that I use in techno to find inspiration.
Techno Starter Pack - Neos Sound
When I start a song, I love to start with the drums.
I place my Kick and then the Open-hats and Hi-hats. I mix it all together and I already have a dynamic pattern.
The pack I use to do this is the "Techno Starter Pack" which is basically drums and MIDI for the drums.
This pack was built in a traditional Techno style with a TR-909 + our secret recipe for impactful drums.
Strobe (Free Pack) - Neos Sound
If you are looking for inspiration for your melodies and leads.
The Strobe pack is very interesting for you. It contains MIDI files that you can edit and create your own melodies.
You will also find melody loops that you can use in your songs by remixing them.
You will save a lot of time in your creation process.
Free 303 Acid - Music Radar
You probably had this problem when you started producing.
It's to want to create your first music in a very expensive synth style.
The first TB-303 costs 350 euros.
If you like to produce acid I recommend this pack.
It contains 252 free loops that you can use in your tracks.
Techno Volume 4 - Samplesound
If you are looking for a free traditional sample pack.
You might be interested in this pack from Samplesound. It has all kinds of samples, drums, fx etc...
It's a good pack to have, rather access on beginners.
Dark Waves Freebie - Noiiz
In this pack you will find mostly dark atmospheres.
This is the free version of the Dark Waves pack but the demo is cool.
When creating your drum pattern, adding 1 or 2 ambiences will create something cool.

Despite this, you are limited by the free offer and it allows you to have a taste of the paid packs.
